Visiting Professor Richmond serves as research professor in international relations, peace and conflict studies at University of Manchester. Prior to joining the University of Manchester, he served as director and founder of the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies from 2005-2012. He served as assistant professor of international relations at University of Nicosia from 1994-1999, and served as a lecturer at University of St. Andrews from 2000. He holds a B.A. in classical civilisation and English and American literature, an M.A. and Ph.D. in international relations at University of Kent at Canterbury.
